I’ve spent years looking for a site that actually lives up to its promise of being for new WordPress users. New WordPress users want to know how to create posts and pages, upload media, and what the difference is between categories and tags. WP101 is the only site I’ve ever found that addresses those requirements.
When I looked at the videos offered here, it took me all of 30 seconds to realize what a value this is going to be for my WordPress clients. I’ve been creating video tutorials for years, and I know how much work goes into creating a tutorial course. Thank goodness Shawn has created these, so I don’t have to!
Shawn’s video tutorial style is exemplary. Unlike some other WordPress video tutorial makers I know, Shawn does not shoot from the hip. His presentations are polished and precise. When you think about the time and care taken to make these tutorials, the decision to pay a few dollars doesn’t get much easier than this!
In my quest for quality ‘how to’ videos, I stumbled upon WP101 and couldn’t be happier. As a former teacher, I can attest these videos are spot on in their timing, scope and sequencing. Broken down into manageable units, the content is expertly delivered and simple to digest. I plan to point my WordPress clients to this site.
Having these videos on our site allows our clients the flexibility to login as often as they need to find the answers they’re after. We’ve seen a dramatic decrease in WordPress support questions since we implemented this change. Our investment has already paid for itself and then some!
Because WP101 is so well done, developers/trainers no longer need to train their clients in WordPress. Just tell them to spend the money on WP101′s tutorials. In fact… just incorporate it into the fee!

WP101.com is the best tutorial site I’ve signed up with. I am really impressed with the level of service and prompt response time, even though the site is run by just one guy.
