Terms & Conditions
Please carefully read these terms carefully before purchasing a license, as your license is conditioned upon compliance with these terms.
- Licensee agrees to pay to WP101 a one-time payment in the amount of license requested.
- This fee includes rights to display any/all of the 31 videos that make up the “WordPress 101” video tutorial series.
- This non-exclusive license provides for the distribution and display of the WP101 videos via the Internet, on no more than one (1) domain/website.
- The videos may only be made available to the Licensee’s users via streaming on a password-protected or secure area on the Licensee’s website.
- The videos may not be made available for download or freely re-distributed in any way, nor made publicly-accessible outside of the password-protected area on the Licensee’s website.
- The licensed videos may not comprise the entire offering of the Licensee’s site, product, or services, but rather must be presented alongside and in addition to other content, products, and/or services.
- Licensee agrees that the sole purpose of his/her site is not to provide WordPress tutorials, and any attempt to directly compete with WP101 in this manner will result in the immediate termination of this agreement and all rights and privileges presented herein.
- The videos may not be used to create courses or otherwise made available on hosted educational sites like Teachable, Udemy, Thinkific, LearnWorlds, Skillshare, or other similar sites.
- Licensee agrees not to advertise in any media using our registered trademark, “WP101” or the phrase, “WordPress 101”.
- No provision is made for the resale or distribution of the videos in any other media, including, but not limited to: DVDs, CDs, portable storage devices, personal media players, file download services, or publicly-accessible video sharing websites.
- Licensee agrees to display the videos in their entirety, exactly as they are furnished to the Licensee.
- No provision is made in this agreement for editing the videos in any way.
- No provision is made in this agreement for co-branding the videos, or removing the WP101 branding, if applicable.
- WP101 agrees to provide the videos to the Licensee in H.264 encoded .MP4 format, the standard required by video hosting services.
- Delivery of the video files and grant of any license or copyright is conditioned on receipt of full payment.
- Upon receipt of full payment, WP101 grants to the Licensee the following copyrights: License for limited usage online, no modification rights.
- Any additional uses not identified herein require an additional license and may require an additional fee. All other rights are expressly reserved by WP101. The rights granted to Licensee are for the usage of the videos in their original form only. Licensee may not crop, distort, manipulate, reconfigure, mimic, animate, create derivative works, extract portions, or in any other manner, alter the videos without first obtaining specific permission from WP101.
- No refunds will be made after the successful delivery of the video content.
- Updates to the videos will be produced at the sole discretion of WP101, as new WordPress functions and features warrant.
- WP101 agrees to furnish updated videos to the Licensee at no additional cost, for a period not to exceed 12 months from the date of this agreement.
- Beyond the initial term, this license may be renewed for additional consecutive 12-month terms at the same price of the original purchase.
- Upon cancellation, the Licensee hereby agrees to remove the videos and any hosted URLs from their website immediately.
- WP101 may revise these terms of use at any time without notice. By continuing to use this web site and the WordPress 101 videos, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms and conditions of use.
