I want to put in a photo that when clicked on goes to full screen and allows zooming so people can zoom in on the detail. How do I do that?
In this video tutorial — part of our WordPress 101 course — I demonstrated how to add a photo, then specify what happens when a visitor clicks the image.
By default, if you link an image to the full-resolution version of a photo, your visitor will be able to zoom in, just using the controls in their web browser.
But if you want to offer more control over the zooming process, for example, to add a magnifying glass so your visitors can view fine detail in the image, you might consider installing a plugin like WP Image Zoom.
Once installed and activated, WP Image Zoom adds a magnifying glass on your images, allowing your visitors to see the details in your images.
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
