Argh. After a whole day of trouble with plugin conflicts, I still can not seem to edit my text widgets properly. I do not want to use a plug-in. At the bottom of my front page you will see the 2 two text widgets in the middle footer section need formatting. Also, on my acutal single post page the text in the sidebar (again a text widget) is not like I want it either !
I am using CustomizrPro - child theme. They offer ticket support but this is a regular Wp/html/css question that I need to understand. When I try to inspect and change the css of the proper element (by pasting to my child theme it doesnt work) Any suggestions.
Thanks
Hi Charlotte,
First of all, thanks for including the links to the examples on your site. It helps to see the widgets on your site.
Without knowing precisely what you want to include in those widgets, or what formatting you are trying to create, I can't get specific about the HTML and/or CSS needed.
But one simple method that might help is to create a new (temporary) post. Use the Editor to create the content you want to include in the text widget, and format it using the Visual Editor toolbar. When you're finished, switch the Editor to Text/HTML mode, and copy the code from the Editor window. You can now delete the temporary post.
Finally, switch to Appearance > Widgets and then paste the code you copied from the previous step into the text widget where you want it to appear. Save and preview your site to see the new text widget content in action.

Hope this helps!
